Our job is simply to do our best in everything we do.
We are in control of our effort, but we are not in control of the outcome.
We will not likely succeed at everything we do and we need to give ourselves grace upon grace.
We have so much to do!
- families to feed
- shopping to do
- appointments to make
- emails to open
- bills to pay
- books to read
- studies to have
- laundry to wash
- dishes to clean
- and SO MUCH MORE!
We are only one person and can simply do OUR BEST!
The good news is that we don’t have to do it alone. God is faithful and promises to give us strength and guidance.
Here are some encouraging verses that point to the importance of using all of your God-given abilities to do YOUR BEST.
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”
Colossians 3:23-24
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
1 Corinthians 9:24
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3
I pray that you will find grace in the midst of challenges today.
Blessings,
Kristy
